Susan has served in the General Assembly as the Representative of the 79th Legislative District since 1999. She currently serves on the following committees: Banking and Insurance, Health and Welfare, Agriculture and Small Business, co-chair of Seniors sub-committee, Families and Children sub-commitee.
She is a social worker, holding an M.S.W. from the University of Kentucky.
She has served on numerous task forces and commissions. She is currently the Director of Advocacy and Marketing for the Buckhorn Children's Foundation.
